For all makeup Artists wishing to perfect the basic techniques. Best for those beginners preferring a more methodical approach to beginning their makeup career as opposed to the "jump in at the deep end" approach offered by the "Intensive”.
Do you have love for people, a passion for doing make-up, a dedication to work and a strong point of view, then you already of in common what the top make-up artist have. Learn first hand how to approach "the basics" and color with Linda Mason. You will learn tools & technique, basic fundamentals: skin, brows, eyes, cheeks, lips and learn how to put them all together. Each day will include a lecture, demonstrations and hours of student practice with one on one attention from Linda Mason. The program will include guest appearances by industry contacts, tastemakers and other celebrity make-up artists. As a student you will receive a make-up artist apron, a cosmetic bag and hours of experience.
THE FEE INCLUDES:- USE OF ALL CLASS MATERIALS MAKEUP BRUSHES etc
ALL STUDENTS WILL BE GIVEN A SMALL SET OF ESSENTIAL MAKEUP COLORS
STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A PAD OF COLORING PAPER
Day 1 INTRO & ART CLASS- CLEANLINESS, CARE OF BRUSHES, TEXTURES, SHAPES & COLORS
Day 2 SKIN TONES, SKIN TEXTURES, CHOICE OF BASE and DIFFERENT METHODS OF APPLICATION.
Day 3 FACE SHAPES, BLUSH AND SCULPTING
Day 4 DIFFERENT EYE SHAPES AND SHAPING
Day 5 LIPS SHAPING & COLORING, LOOKING GOOD IN ANY COLOR
Day 6 BROWS & LASHES, MASCARA, FALSE LASHES.
Day 7 ASSIGNMENTSAND NATURAL MAKEUP
Day 8 THE SMOKEY EYE & A LESSON IN COLOR CHOICE
Day 9 ASSISTING, FIELD TRIP, DISCUSSIONS WITH A DESIGNER AND HAIR STYLIST
Day 10 EXAM DAY
