LINDA MASON PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP SCHEDULE 2008-2009

Linda is world renowned for her innovative and unique use of color. She has created dynamic looks for designers as diverse as Jean Paul Gaultier & John Galliano. She has won a variety of awards and has 4 books published. Linda has worked with celebrities like Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Naomi Cambell, Cameron Diaz, and photographers as Steven Meisel, Mathew Rolston, Walter Chin, David La Chapelle, and Richard Avedon to name a few.

FOR ALL LEVELS
THE INTENSIVE / Fee $3,000* for a 7 CLASS 6 DAY PROGRAM
A complete program that focuses on 7 elements of being, enhancing or becoming a make-up artist. Starting with finding inspiration, to understanding skin + eyes, to cheeks + lips, preparing brides, learning Editorial & Runway from Fashion to beauty and ending with a test photo shoot and portfolio preparation. Each class begins with multiple demonstrations by Linda Mason, followed by hands on student application and one on one attention. The fee includes a set of 14 make-up brushes, supplies for use during the session, the cost of a photo-shoot, and edited photos for use in your portfolio.

FOR THE BEGINNER
FIRST STEPS : BASIC WORKSHOP / fee $3500 a 10 DAY PROGRAM
Do you have love for people, a passion for doing make-up, a dedication to work and a strong point of view, then you already of in common what the top make-up artist have. Learn first hand how to approach "the basics" and color with Linda Mason. You will learn tools & technique, basic fundamentals: skin, brows, eyes, cheeks, lips and learn how to put them all together. Each day will include a lecture, demonstrations and hours of student practice with one on one attention from Linda Mason. The program will include guest appearances by industry contacts, tastemakers and other celebrity make-up artists. As a student you will receive a make-up artist apron, a cosmetic bag and hours and hours of experience.

FREESTYLE makeup method / fee $1000 a 4 HOUR PROGRAM
One workshop focusing on artistic direction & self expression: learning to be free & discovering your OWN creativity and color style. The time includes a lecture and 100% participation of each student creating his or her own abstract shapes & forms for illustrated photos. Student participation is executed on live models, working with both the face and body. Student will receive images for portfolio.
